Over 20 years ago, three young Jutlanders started what has evolved into one of Denmark's biggest webshop successes, Coolshop.
Today, Coolshop relies on logistics, warehousing and freight management to run smoothly. That's why they work closely with Homerunner, which ensures that all packages arrive safely to customers in eight countries.

Today our colleagues are incredibly good at what they do especially in Denmark so we must stay updated at all times says John Møller, COO at Coolshop. He explains that Coolshop never had a business plan to become one of Denmark’s biggest webshops.
The goal was simply to work harder than everyone else. Hard work has also helped Coolshop through crises from the IT bubble and the financial crisis to corona inflation.

Crisis or not, Coolshop has always aimed to make things crazier, taking what already exists and doing it better says John.
In 2021 they jumped from a five thousand square meter warehouse to twenty two thousand. It is three hundred meters long so efficiency matters.
A warehouse that size demands optimal processes. Coolshop sends about one point five million parcels a year receives goods from all over the world.

To ease the processes in their shipping management, Coolshop made an agreement with Homerunner.
The agreement means that Coolshop collects all parcels in cages, after which Homerunner transports them to their sorting facility. Here, via automated processes, they are sorted between the individual countries and the respective suppliers.
