Raasdal

From local entrepreneurship
to global trading success

Born out of an apartment

It all started with car-stereos to young guys

The story of Raasdal begins in a small apartment. The owner, Kenneth, decided to cut out the middleman and import goods from the Far East to sell directly to end users in Denmark.

Over time, he hired his childhood friend Rasmus, and together they began sourcing products ranging from surveillance cameras to LED projectors. What started as a project with 10 employees evolved into Raasdal – an online commerce company with more than 100 employees.

A solid presence ...

In the e-commerce market in Europe

From searching widely for new products to creating structure around their assortment, Raasdal has always been dedicated to building strong brands, says Lars Rasmussen, Head of Purchasing & Shipping at Raasdal.

Their approach involves not only adding products, but also identifying how the products can be integrated into existing brands or even form the basis for new ones.

"The reason Homerunner came into the picture was because of their prices, and then it was the ease of the IT setup from them to us through the TA system we use to make labels."
